Assistant or Associate Professor, Tenure Track
The College of Nursing has a 74-year history of excellence in nursing education, with more than 700 students currently enrolled in BSN, MSN, DNP and PhD programs. Graduate specializations include Nurse-Midwifery, Children and Families, Adult, Acute Care, Older Adult, Clinical Nurse Leader, and Health Care Systems Leadership. More than 80 collaborating agencies provide learning and research opportunities for students and faculty. U.S. News & World Report ranks the College of Nursing graduate program in the top 20 percent nationally.
The College of Nursing is a dynamic community of teacher–scholars. Faculty research programs contribute to knowledge development in the focal areas of vulnerable populations and nursing education. The Institute for End of Life Care and the Institute for Natural Family Planning are located within the college.
Associate Dean for Research provides strategic direction and leadership for research initiatives of the College of Nursing. He/she will provide mentoring to faculty to enhance research productivity and direct the College of Nursing Office of Research and Scholarship.
