Job Description:
The Division of Nursing at Saint Joseph College invites application for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Responsibilities include teaching at the graduate as well as the undergraduate level, participating in curriculum development, facilitating development of clinical sites for precepted experiences, and advising students. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching and the flexibility to teach collaboratively across the curriculum is desired.
The successful candidate will have a Masters degree in nursing, PhD or DNP degree, certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, prior teaching experience at the graduate level, excellent interpersonal skills and evidence of recent clinical practice. On line teaching experience is desirable but not required. Current licensure as an APRN in the state of Connecticut, or eligibility for licensure is necessary. The successful candidate will possess a nursing philosophy that is built on caring and is consistent with the mission of the College.
