Illinois Central College is seeking a qualified individual to provide instruction in the Nursing Program. The successful candidate will be required to assist in the development, evaluation, and teaching of program curriculum; coordinate and supervise student clinical instruction; advise program students; and teach in the Health Skills Lab.
NECESSARY Master’s degree in Nursing; minimum of two years clinical nursing experience;
QUALIFICATIONS current professional registered nurse license in the State of Illinois.
DESIRABLE Doctorate degree in Nursing; teaching experience in an academic nursing
QUALIFICATIONS program; community college experience; and the ability to serve the needs of a diverse population of students.
START DATE August 2009
SALARY AND RANK The academic year base salary and rank will be determined based on the educational preparation and occupational and/or teaching experience of the successful candidate.
THE COLLEGE Illinois Central College, established in 1966, is a fully accredited comprehensive community college with a headcount enrollment of approximately 12,000 students. In addition to academic courses and curricula designed to meet the lower-division requirements of four-year colleges and universities, the College provides career-oriented programs as well as general education and community service courses.
