Pennsylvania College of Technology is located in Williamsport, a family-oriented community ideally situated along the Susquehanna River at the foot of Bald Eagle Mountain in north central Pennsylvania within 200 Miles of New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Penn College is Pennsylvania’s premier technical college and an affiliate of The Pennsylvania State University. More than 6,500 students are enrolled in Penn College’s bachelor and associate degree and certificate majors, which combine hands-on experience with theory and management education.
The School of Health Sciences offers state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and equipment, as well as off-campus clinical experiences for students enrolled in the Practical Nursing (Certificate or Associate's Degree), Registered Nurse Associate's Degree, and Registered Nurse Bachelor's Degree (traditional and completion) programs. All nursing programs are fully accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. Minimum qualifications include a Master's Degree in Nursing with expertise in Adult Health or other specialty area; current registration as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; and nursing experience involving direct patient care or nursing education experience within two years of employment. Must be certified in CPR at the Basic Life Support level or higher and maintain certification. Finalists will be required to present a sample lesson. Position will start Fall 2010 semester, August 12, 2010.
