General Purpose & Scope of Position: Provide instruction (classes, labs, & clinicals) within specific programs; assist academic administrators with curriculum development, student advising, program enrollment; provide institutional support and community service. Fully supports the College’s mission and strategic plan initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications: A qualified faculty member in the Nursing program meets the following criteria: Possesses a current, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse license, and possesses an earned Master’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution. Ability to communicate concepts to students to assist in their learning. Knowledge of on-line instructional tools (Blackboard). Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction.
