Faculty - Doctor Of Nursing Practice Program
The UT HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER (UTHSC) College of Nursing invites applications for the position of a full-time non-tenure track position (tenure track negotiable) as faculty in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Pediatric Option.

UTHSC has educated more than 53,000 health care professionals on three campuses across the state – Memphis, Knoxville and Chattanooga. The UTHSC campuses include colleges of Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry, Graduate Health Sciences, Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy. Patient care, professional education and research are carried out at hospitals and other clinical sites across Tennessee.
Teaching responsibilities include both didactic course work and clinical supervision of students. The UTHSC embraces four missions: education, research, clinical care and institutional service. Responsibilities for this role include clinical practice assignment, in addition to educational responsibilities. Research/scholarship activities and institutional service responsibilities will be determined in collaboration with Department Chair.
Unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse and advanced practice nurse in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain licensure in Tennessee required, as well as certification/recertification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Earned doctoral degree from an accredited university required.
Expertise in clinical teaching and active engagement in the appropriate professional organization is required. Evidence of scholarship including research and/or grants are highly desirable. Academic rank commensurate with degree and experience.
