Job Description:
A faculty member in the baccalaureate nursing program at SCF, Manatee-Sarasota provides instructional quality and student success at the highest level; pursues continuing state-of-the-art knowledge and professional development; commits to the mission of SCF and serves in a variety of other functions in support of the nursing program, the College, and the community.
REQUIRED:
Doctorate in Nursing (strongly preferred) or doctoral candidate expecting to complete the degree within one year; Master’s Degree in Nursing required. Must have at least one graduate degree in Nursing and have a valid Florida RN license, or be eligible for Florida licensure. Recent nursing education teaching experience required, preferably in RN to BSN program. A record of excellence in professional or teaching career with demonstrated ability to work with colleagues, staff, and community constituents throughout the healthcare industry. Strong written and oral communication and computer skills required.
