U.S. News & World Report ranks UW–Milwaukee College of Nursing in the top 6 percent of nursing schools with graduate programs. Throughout its history, the College has been widely recognized for its innovation, leadership in the profession of nursing, and extensive history of collaboration with diverse community agencies. The College of Nursing supports the University’s urban mission by responding to the health needs of individuals, families, groups, and populations in urban communities. The College is proud of our world class faculty, more than 1/3 of whom have been inducted as Fellows in the American Academy of Nursing. A strong mentorship program launches new tenure-track faculty. Faculty research teams are funded in Self-Management Science, Geriatric Nursing, Global Health and Community Engaged Research. Faculty are engaged in research projects with the CTSA and all major health systems in SE Wisconsin.
Appointments are available for full-time, nine-month, tenure track, Assistant/Associate/Full Professor(s) in a variety of specialty areas to teach courses and carry out scholarly activities and community service in accordance with the mission of the College of Nursing and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Salary is negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience. Screening of candidates is-on-going and will continue until positions are filled.
Required Qualifications:-Research Doctorate in Nursing or related field
- Master’s degree in Nursing- Licensed as an RN in Wisconsin or eligible to become licensed as an RN in Wisconsin- Teaching experience/expertise, clinical practice, and/or a beginning or established program of research in any of the following areas:
