Job Description:
Must possess skills to serve as a consultant, educator, facilitator and coach for Carilion Clinic in all areas of educational development. Will act as a strategic partner assisting with the development and coordination of system-wide processes related to Human Resources Development. Will promote Carilion's mission, vision, values, leadership and guiding principles by being a change leader and cultural champion. (See JCHS.edu).
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Education, Applied Sciences, Management, or Human Resources required. Master's Degree preferred.
Experience: Four years of applied experience in Nursing, Education, Applied Science, consulting, management or Human Resources needed. Registered Nurse with Cardiology background necessary for this position with demonstrated skills in project management, presentation development and consulting essential.
Strong clinical skills, able to teach cardiac monitoring and clinical skills in the areas of cardiology. Previous experience with an electronic medical record helpful.
Other:
Also, must be able to teach ACLS and other clinical classes. Must be able to teach other clinical staff about equipment, supplies, and new clinical techniques. Applied knowledge and skills in the areas of communications, leadership, team building, employee development, interpersonal relationship management, versatility and creativity, and system application of processes needed.
