Job Description:

Tenure-track faculty position available July 1, 2009. Major responsibility: direct curriculum development, implementation, evaluation, and accreditation; teaching, scholarship, and professional service; student advising. Minimum qualifications: master’s degree with a major in nursing; earned doctorate of nursing practice (DNP) OR doctorate with a dissertation in nursing (PhD, DNS) or related field (PhD, EdD); advanced practice certification; unencumbered RN license. Preferred qualifications: teaching experience in higher education; clinical experience as a nurse practitioner; record of success in scholarship; record of success in curricular development and program accreditation; ability to communicate effectively; ability to integrate technology in nursing education.
