This position will oversee nursing education and staff development across the UH system to promote professional advancement in nursing practice, excellence in nursing quality, and a national reputation for nursing education. Responsibilities include all education programs (orientation, competency testing, continuing education, mentorship, specialty conferences) all affiliation agreements and clinical affiliation experiences, grant proposals, publications, and research pertinent to nursing education.
> BSN, Masters, and PhD in Nursing
> Registered Nurse with valid license to practice in Ohio
> National Nursing Certification in Staff Development required or to complete in 2 years of hire
> At least 5-10 years of professional experience in clinical nursing
> At least 5-10 years of professional experience in nursing education/staff development within a large teaching hospital/health care system and/or affiliated university based undergraduate/graduate nursing program.
