OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY WITH CONTRA COSTA HEALTH SERVICES!
Working out of the Contra Costa County Regional Medical Center in Martinez, the successful candidate will be responsible for hospital nursing management. This includes collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer in the development of the nursing service objectives, the department budget, including the monitoring of financial performance and effectiveness in subordinate functional areas, recommending adjustments to enhance services, and establishing, evaluating and revising standards of care to ensure compliance with JCAHO and Title XXII. You’ll also plan and direct assigned nursing services in the hospital through subordinate supervisory personnel, consult with and provide guidance to nurse managers regarding such issues as staffing, operating procedures and utilization of equipment and supplies.
Position requires a Master’s degree in nursing, hospital or health care administration or a closely related field from an accredited college or university, plus possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. Four (4) years of full-time experience or its equivalent as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital, two (2) years of which were in the capacity of a head nurse, nursing supervisor or higher level nurse management function, is also required.
