The Director of the Center for Nursing Scholarship will be a visiting professor faculty position and duties will include (1) create strategies, goals and initiatives for the education and development of faculty; 2) support the ongoing development of faculty development programs related to teaching, scholarship, or service; 3) Work collaboratively across the institution to leverage resources to implement strategic goals related to institutional priorities; and 4) Maintain a vision and current knowledge of teaching excellence grounded in educational research and expertise work closely with doctoral students related to dissertation development and completion.
PhD in nursing or relevant discipline and eligibility for RN licensure in Georgia • Doctoral teaching experience with experience directing dissertations preferred • Established research program • Online teaching experience • Manuscript development experience • Experience with funded grants and grant writing preferred • Administrative and collaborative leadership experience • Exemplary interpersonal communication skills • At least 5 years' experience in nursing education • Commitment to a diverse academic community • Minimum rank Associate Professor or equivalent
