The following position is being posted and distributed for consideration by those who meet the minimum qualifications.

Department Chair for Nursing: Full-Time, Faculty, benefits eligible, position, (pending final administrative approval). Department Chair for the Practical Nursing and ASN Nursing programs; academic year and summer appointment; instructional responsibilities as assigned; manage all elements of nursing programs including related enrollment management, quality of instruction, program administration, and human resource management ensuring coordination with academic and non-academic departments.

Earned Master’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution. Registered Nurse with current license for Indiana (or availability to receive Indiana RN license by August 17, 2009); minimum two years of directly related work experience is required. Two or more years organizational leadership experience within a health care related educational and/or practitioner environment preferred.
