The Institute is an academic affiliate of the Massachusetts General Hospital and a member of the Partners HealthCare System. Close ties to clinical and academic institutions in the Boston area contribute to a rich and diverse environment for research and scholarship, excellence in clinical practice, and exciting teaching opportunities. The Institute is located in the historic Charlestown Navy Yard, which also houses a major research presence of the Massachusetts General Hospital.
