Job Description:

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Phyllis F. Cantor Center and the Center for Population Sciences seek to identify a nurse investigator with demonstrated expertise in community approaches to addressing cancer prevention and early detection, notably in the area of health disparities. The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree with graduate level training in public health, plus a doctorate in public health, nursing science or a related field. Candidates should have begun a consistent and funded program of research in relevant areas. The successful candidate will be a joint member of 1) the Phyllis F. Cantor Center for Research in Nursing and Patient Care Services, and 2) the Division of Population Sciences, which includes three major research programs (cancer outcomes, genetics/high-risk populations, and community-based prevention research), all of which offer many collaborative opportunities. The successful candidate will be eligible for a tenure-track, Instructor or Assistant Professor appointment through the Harvard Medical School.
