COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING FACULTY POSITION: One full-time tenure track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for candidates who have completed doctoral coursework or full time lecturer with Master’s Degree that can convert to a tenure track upon completion of doctorate. An earned Master’s is required, an earned doctorate preferred. If ABD, candidates will be required to complete the doctoral degree by August, 2016. A Master’s degree in Nursing is required for appointment as full time lecturer with enrollment in doctoral degree program required. Sustained progress in a doctoral program will be required for retention. Doctorate must be completed no later than August 2021. Candidates must be eligible for licensure by California Board of Registered Nursing. A minimum of one year of recent cumulative clinical and/or teaching experience in community health nursing is desired. A minimum of one year recent clinical experience as an RN or instructor in last five years is required.
