HealthPlus of Michigan has an excellent opportunity for an individual to join our leading health insurance organization. The Clinical Performance Improvement Coordinator (part-time) responsibilities include designing studies, implementing quality improvement activities, monitoring outcomes and evaluating the success of improvement initiatives.
A successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or health related field, (i.e. nursing) or equivalent experience (which is a nursing degree, plus three years of professional nursing experience), as well as, a current, valid Michigan license to practice as a Registered Nurse without any conditions, limitations or restrictions. Must also have two years of clinical and three years of performance improvement or quality management experience in a public health, managed care or clinical environment. Knowledge in NCQA accreditation standards and HEDIS measures is a plus.
