Located on the campus of Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, Randall Children’s Hospital is a new, state-of-the-art, nine story, 165-bed facility designed exclusively for the special health care needs of children. The Children’s Hospital receives nearly 100,000 patient visits every year and is Oregon’s largest provider of pediatric inpatient and trauma services.
Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel is seeking a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist to promote professional development and the advancement of nursing practice in the pediatric acute care and ambulatory care areas. The CNS will facilitate the provision of high quality, evidence-based care and will serve as a role model, demonstrating a firm clinical knowledge base in specialty practice and systems theory. In addition the Pediatric CNS will partner with Randall Children's Hospital leadership to ensure our nursing staff is competent and practicing nursing by using the most current evidence based best practices.
Successful candidates will have proven critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to develop effective relationships with patient, staff, physicians, management and other customers.
