Clinical Nurse Instructor, Pediatric Specialty – Oakland Campus
The CNI is accountable to the course manager and to the assigned program director/chairperson. The CNI is responsible for creating a positive learning environment for students in accordance with the educational objectives of the courses and for implementing the policies identified in the course syllabus to ensure the successful achievement of course objectives. This full-time instructor will teach only in the clinical setting.
• Masters in Nursing or related field required.
• Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in California.
• Demonstrated current competence in pediatrics.
• Effective leadership and communication skills.
• Past experience in clinical teaching preferred.
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
