Title: Clinical Instructror- (Non-Tenure Track; 3 positions)
Department: Nursing Job Vacancy #: FY 08/09-49
Duties will include teaching students in classrooms, simulated laboratories, and clinical settings. Additional efforts in service and research are expected, and experience working with ethnically diverse populations is a plus.
Required :
* Education: All positions require a master's degree in nursing and licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas prior to assuming the position.
* Experience: Previous teaching experience at the baccalaureate and/or graduate level(s), and evidence of strong potential for research.
Preferred qualifications include at least 2 years of clinical experience in a specialty area and previous teaching at the baccalaureate and/or graduate level(s). Position is renewable annually contingent upon reauthorization and funding.
Other information:
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
