The College of Nursing invites candidates with clinical expertise and strong clinical teaching skills to submit applications. This position requires excellence in teaching in undergraduate and graduate nursing. Specifically we are seeking a candidate with certification as an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Expertise in adult acute care nursing as well as ability to teach foundational nursing courses in pathophysiology and pharmacology are desired. Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the successful candidate include a commitment to continued development of excellence in teaching and service.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: Master’s degree in nursing with certification as an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner; enrollment in or completion of a doctoral degree in nursing program; eligibility for Wisconsin licensure; and teaching experience or other suitable professional experience.
Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities: Commitment to undergraduate and graduate clinical teaching. Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence and service. The candidate should be forward thinking and committed to preparing the next generation of nurses for excellence in practice.
