Position Title: Clinical Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor, Nursing
Primary Purpose: Provide classroom, clinical, and laboratory teaching in the Meridian Accelerated Program. Other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities: Provide classroom and clinical teaching in the areas of professional nursing education which include nursing fundamentals, medical-surgical, mental health, maternal-child, leadership, and community. To provide learning opportunities for students in simulation settings. To provide faculty supervision of undergraduate BS nursing students. To participate in School of Nursing shared governance.
Minimum Qualifications: MS in Nursing Idaho RN licensure with emphasis in medical/surgical nursing Hospital, community, and professional nursing practice required Other specialty areas considered
Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in nursing or other related field Enrolled in doctoral program Prior experience and examples of providing scholarly teaching in classroom, clinical, and lab settings
