A Master’s degree in Nursing with one to four years of closely related experience in higher education required. Incumbents are required to have demonstrated advanced knowledge and abilities in the following areas: Professional competence in Simulation: SSH certified preferred; Simulation instruction and course design; Methods of testing and assessing student performance in simulation settings; Comprehensive familiarity with accreditation procedures and strategies of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) Effective oral and written communication skills A demonstrated understanding of the community college mission, philosophy, and student population.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Allied Health, the Clinical Coordinator directs the Simulation Lab portion of courses in Nursing. The incumbent’s work includes both simulation program and administration and teaching of students in the simulation setting. The position has substantial cooperative relationships with faculty, administration, students, staff and the public.
