U.S. News & World Report ranks UW–Milwaukee College of Nursing in the top 6 percent of nursing schools with graduate programs. The College of Nursing supports the University’s urban mission by responding to the health needs of individuals, families, groups, and populations in urban communities. The College is proud of our world class faculty, more than 1/3 of whom have been inducted as Fellows in the American Academy of Nursing.
Appointments are available for full-time, nine-month, Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professors in a variety of specialty areas to teach courses and carry out scholarly activities and community service in accordance with the mission of the College of Nursing and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. These doctorally-prepared instructional academic staff positions, as opposed to tenured/tenure track faculty positions, emphasize teaching, administrative leadership and service within the College of Nursing. Opportunity for scholarship activity is provided, but is not the primary focus of this role. Salary is negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience.
