Hartford Hospital, Central Connecticut’s leading tertiary and level 1 trauma medical center is looking for 2 full-time Master’s prepared Certified Nurse Midwives to join our growing 4 CNM hospital based practice. Excellent opportunity to be part of a new community of nurse midwives at Hartford Hospital in CT. The positions include 2 -12 hr shifts on Labor and Delivery, and 2 - 8 hrs days in our clinic. Currently it is a Monday-Friday position and no on- call hours. During the 12 hour shift, responsibilities include caring for triage and laboring women. Our clinic cares for the local community of women, bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not necessary to apply. New CNMs will be considered who have a strong clinical background prior to midwifery school.
Hartford is 90 minutes from New York City and 90 minutes from Boston, making it a good location for day trips to both cities. As a small state, Connecticut offers urban, suburban and rural communities within an easy drive to the hospital.
