Minnesota State University, Mankato, School of Nursing invites applications for multiple full-time, tenure-track positions beginning August 2013. Appointments are for 9 months with opportunities for summer teaching. Faculty members are expected to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, engage in scholarship, and provide service to the discipline, University, and community. Ideal candidates for these positions will be experienced teachers, with focused scholarship and nursing experience in a defined clinical specialty. An earned doctorate is required by appointment start date. Advanced practice nursing certification is highly desirable. Experience using clinical simulation pedagogy is also highly desirable. Professional development activities are contractually funded through improvement grants, research grants and incentives, and sabbatical leaves.
