The Associate Managing Director assists with operations, management and planning for SMU’s Accelerated BSN Program. Associate Managing Director also instructs nursing students in classroom and/or clinical settings. This is a ranked faculty position with release time for administrative duties.
Two positions are available – one on SMU’s San Francisco campus, and one on the San Mateo campus.
Qualified candidates have a demonstrated commitment to academic excellence and possess:
- Master’s degree in nursing or equivalent, Doctorate preferred
- Direct patient care or clinical teaching experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years progressive teaching experience in a nursing program
