El Centro College is seeking a highly motivated, personable, innovative, visionary leader to join our staff as the Associate Dean of Allied Health. This exciting position not only provides support and assistance to the Executive Dean of Health & Legal Studies, but will serve as a strong administrative leader who will develop & recommend curriculum that furthers El Centro’s cutting edge Allied Health Programs. In addition, the successful candidate will possess a broad knowledge of the different areas in the field of Allied Health, having the ability to recruit & supervise technically-sound instructors and healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds. Additional responsibilities include developing & monitoring budget and grant funding; Ability to effectively communicate with vendors, staff and students from all backgrounds; Ability to delegate, monitor and mentor others. Our desired candidate will be instrumental in maintaining & developing community and regional relationships with new and existing partners in the health care field. This leader should be well versed in programmatic accreditation and management; Task-oriented, Problem-solver; Communicator, Team player; Goal setter and Technically- skilled.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Allied Health or related field or Master’s degree in Nursing with three years of experience in a related technical occupational program.
