Nursing curriculum development, teaching theory, clinical and simulated laboratory courses in nursing; and service to the Nursing Program. An active program of research and scholarly publication is required.
Earned doctorate in nursing preferred or doctorate in related discipline. Master’s Degree in nursing required.
At least three years of clinical experience and classroom teaching experience in nursing education (baccalaureate program experience preferred). Experience in curriculum design and program development; program assessment, review, and accreditation; and experience with varied instructional methods, including distance education, online instruction, and simulation instruction; and informatics
Other Requirements for the Position
Eligible for registered nurse licensure in Texas. A record of accomplishments in teaching, scholarship, and service in a school of nursing.
