DESCRIPTION: Within the Department of Physiological Nursing, the successful candidate will teach, conduct research, and participate in service activities. Areas of interest include but are not limited to: symptom management, chronic disease management, transition in care, palliative care, bio/informatics, epigenetics/genomic research, m/eHealth and health disparities specifically or related to one of the areas mentioned.
REQUIREMENTS: Doctoral preparation in nursing or related health field; experience in academic teaching and research commensurate with level of recommended rank and series; commitment to participate in an academic environment with a strong faculty governance structure; and commitment to share in the UCSF mission to advance health worldwide.
One to two years of post-doctoral experience strongly preferred.
