Wright State University-Miami Valley College of Nursing and Health seeks applicants for full-time faculty positions to begin September 1, 2009.
Applicants for Assistant/Associate Professor position must have an earned doctoral degree and a master's degree, with at least one graduate degree in nursing, clinical expertise and teaching experience in a baccalaureate or higher degree program. Applicants must also be eligible for Ohio RN licensure. An established record in scholarship is preferred. To be considered for the rank of Associate Professor, candidate must meet criteria for promotion to that rank.
Applicants for Clinical Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor must have a master's degree in nursing, experience in two clinical areas, and be eligible for Ohio RN licensure. To be considered for the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, candidate must meet criteria for promotion to that rank.
For both positions FNP certification with five years of clinical experience as an FNP and two years teaching experience in a FNP programis preferred.
