Assistant/Associate/ Full Professor for the School of Nursing

The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX is seeking four (4) full-time (10th month), tenure track faculty to teach in undergraduate and/or graduate nursing programs. Official duties and responsibilities of faculty members at the University include teaching, scholarship, service, and professional activities. Teaching responsibilities include classroom, clinical teaching and student advising. In all matters, faculty members are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics. Rank is dependent on education and experience.

The School of Nursing offers a traditional pre-licensure and BSN Completion pathway its BSN Program; the clinical nurse leader and clinical nurse specialist concentrations within its MSN Program; a post masters DNP; and a planned BSN to DNP Family Nurse Practitioner concentration within its DNP Program.

Must have an earned doctorate in nursing or closely related discipline; master's degree in nursing; and/or completion of advanced practice graduate educational program (for FNP applicants).  Also have experience teaching nursing, or knowledge in an institution of higher education. A minimum of five years of professional nursing practice and scholarship experience appropriate for rank.
