Job Description:
Tenure-track position available August 21, 2009. Major responsibilities: classroom and clinical teaching in medical/surgical, community health, and childbearing family in undergraduate program and graduate program; student advising. Minimum qualifications: master’s degree in nursing; current unencumbered State of Indiana Registered Nurse License; earned doctorate with a dissertation in nursing (PhD, DNS) or a related field (PhD, EdD) by date of appointment. Preferred qualifications: teaching experience in higher education; clinical nursing experience in related area of teaching; demonstrated scholarship activities; record of success of published research in refereed journals; ability to communicate effectively ability to integrate technology in nursing education.
