We are actively seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Assistant Professor, Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. This is full-time, 10-month faculty assignment.
The full time faculty member in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing will be the NU 214 course coordinator in both the RN day and RN evening/weekend option and will instruct in the classroom and clinical setting.
In the fall, the faculty member will lecture in the classroom on Monday and will be assigned a clinical group either on Tuesday and Wednesday or Thursday and Friday during the day-time.
In the spring, the faculty member will lecture in the classroom on Thursday evenings and will be assigned a clinical group on Saturday and Sunday days.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Nursing by time of hire. Minimum of two years of clinical experience on an inpatient psychiatric unit required. Experience teaching at the college level and/or adult populations highly desired.
