Position SummaryDominican University of California is seeking to fill two full-time (9 month), tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Nursing, School of Health and Natural Sciences. These positions commence in Fall 2015. The successful candidate's primary responsibilities will include undergraduate teaching in the area of Medical-Surgical Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing. Tenure and promotion requirements for tenure-track faculty include teaching, scholarship, and service. Opportunities exist for research and teaching collaboration within the School of Health and Natural Sciences.
The Department of Nursing, BRN and CCNE accredited, offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Nursing is the largest program on campus, and is comprised of a very diverse student population. Many students are first generation college educated.
