An exceptional nurse educator and exceptional researcher for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. This position requires additional administrative responsibilities for a scholar with leadership and administrative experience to assume the role as the CRNA Program Director. The Program Director is responsible for the administration, development, and implementation of the Oakland University-Beaumont Graduate Program of Nurse Anesthesia initiatives in accordance with the requirements and policies of Oakland University, Beaumont Hospitals, and the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.

Qualified applicants will possess initial certification and recertification as a CRNA by the NBCRNA, and eligible for current licensure and specialty certification in the State of Michigan. The applicant will have a minimum of seven years of experience in clinical nurse anesthesia practice with a minimum of five years of experience as a clinical and didactic instructor in a COA-accredited nurse anesthesia educational program with preferable one year experience in an administrative role. Applicants must show evidence of nursing expertise and scholarship. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong verbal, writing, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills with a commitment to professional graduate education. A doctoral degree is required.
