Job Description:
Opportunity for a non-tenure track position beginning Fall, 2009. Responsible for Medical-Surgical and Psychosocial Nursing in an NLNAC accredited Associate Degree Nursing Program. Position involves teaching, lab instruction, and clinical supervision of students in Medical-Surgical and Psychiatric Nursing in the Associate degree curriculum. Possible Maternal/Newborn and Pediatrics Nursing Clinical available. Nursing program uses clinical sites in Tuscarawas, Stark, and Summit Counties.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Nursing and specialty in medical-surgical or adult clinical experience required. Prior teaching, psychiatric, maternity, pediatrics experience preferred. Strong interest in teaching undergraduate students is essential. This non-tenure track appointment carries with it the expectations of teaching excellence, professional development, and campus, university, and community service.
