Job Description:
Lewis University, located 25 miles SW of Chicago, seeking Assistant Professor in its College of Nursing undergraduate program, to begin Fall 2010.
Under the general supervision of the Program Director, the faculty will teach undergraduate students medical/surgical nursing in the lecture and clinical setting as needed. Classes may be during the day or evening hours and may include weekends.
Responsibilities will include:
-Classroom and/or clinical instruction in medical/surgical nursing.
-Advisement of undergraduate students.
-Participation on college committees.
Qualifications: Doctoral degree in nursing or related field desired, master's degree in nursing required. Equivalent of two years clinical experience in nursing required. Licensed to practice in the state of Illinois or eligibility for same with application in process.
