Assistant Professor, College of Nursing and Health Professions

Lewis University invites applicants for the position of half-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor to provide instruction in Nurse Practitioner track in master's of science in nursing program. The responsibilities include :

Responsibilities:
-Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission to Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
-Instruction of students.
-Participate on various college and university committees.
-Advise students and promote scholarly work.
-Continue development of own scholarly activities.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in nursing with a concentration in FNP. Three years of recent clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Current Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse license or application applied for license. Ability to teach master's level students.

Preferred Qualifications: Three years of teaching experience. Doctorate in nursing or related field.
