The UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine is currently seeking an Assistant Dean for Graduate Medical Education (GME). You will ensure the coordination of all GME activities in order to meet program needs, the requirements of accrediting bodies and institutional objectives and goals. The successful candidate will plan, organize, and promote the growth of new programs, implement and administer progressive GME programs, and provide the leadership necessary to maximize the use of personnel, material and financial resources. In addition, you will be responsible for implementation of the policies and procedures of the UMDNJ-Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institution (OPTI) and will be expected to spend time in clinical and/or research pursuits.
To qualify, you must be a Board Certified Osteopathic Physician with strong leadership experience in graduate medical education, finances, management and administration. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, team-building and analytic skills are essential. Flexibility and a collaborative management style are also required. National involvement in organizations associated with osteopathic GME is preferred.
