Job Description Summary
Employ a range of suitable strategies to foster student learning in the clinical setting, maintain proper clinical-related records, and promptly assess student performance and apprise students of progress. Responsibilities may include teaching nights, and weekends.
Job Responsibilities
Teaches clinical component of a variety of courses in the associate degree or practical nurse programs.
Required Qualifications
-Master’s degree in nursing (MSN).
-Experience of at least two years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse.
-Valid and non-restricted registered licensure in the State of Ohio.
-Current CPR certification and immunizations.
-Current and competent in the clinical arena.
-Specialty practice experience will be required for some positions (pediatrics, obstetrics and psychiatric).
-May require weekend and evening work.
-Availability August 2013 or before.
Willingness to learn and/or have experience in the use of instructional technologies to teach traditional, hybrid and/or distance learning classes, and/or as a supplement
Knowledge and skills in a variety of computer usage and software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

To be determined based on business unit need. Classes may be offered during the day, evening and/or weekend. Please indicate your availability when applying for this position.
Target Hiring Rate/Salary
$65.00 Hourly

Adjunct faculty positions are ongoing pooled positions. Therefore, your materials will remain on file and be reviewed on an as needed basis for adjunct faculty positions throughout the academic year 2013-2014 (Fall, Spring and Summer Semester).
