Samuel Merritt University School of Nursing invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in the following specialties for our Oakland, Sacramento, and San Francisco Peninsula campuses:
The adjunct clinical faculty member is accountable to the Course Manager and responsible for creating a positive learning environment for students in accordance with the educational objectives of the course and for implementing the policies identified in the course syllabus to ensure the successful achievement of course objectives.
Qualifications: Masters in Nursing (preferred). Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in California. Demonstrated current competence in clinical area. Effective leadership and communication skills. Past experience in clinical teaching position preferred.
