Great Organization...
I met Lena in 2006 in my first year in anesthesia school when she invited me to a luncheon sponored by her organization. My participation in the Diversity Nurse Anesthesia Mentorship Program allowed me to meet and network with other SRNAs and CRNAs at the various sponsored events like the luncheons, airway workshop, and graduation dinners. Lena's mentorship program and the people in it were a tremendous support group for me during anesthesia school. The opportunity to fellowship with anesthesia students and graduates provided understanding that the school and clinical pressures I felt were normal. To connect with others going through the same experience as I was invaluable. Lena, the organization you have created is amazing...Continue to grow, educate, and offer support to all the members!
