Tenure and Practice Track Faculty Positions

The University of Alabama, Capstone College of Nursing, Tuscaloosa, AL

Faculty needed for BSN, RN Mobility and MSN programs. Resident faculty have the opportunity to teach in innovative online RN to BSN and RN to BSN/MSN options and the online MSN programs that prepare nurse case managers and clinical nurse leaders. An interdisciplinary EdD with Nurse Educator Specialization program provides opportunities for doctoral level teaching and advising. Funded rural nursing center with rich opportunities for faculty research and practice. Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Master’s in nursing and doctorate in nursing or related field required. Baccalaureate and/or graduate teaching experience, defined research and/or practice area preferred. Background in adult health, case management, community health, rural nursing, or work with disadvantaged students is a plus. Those with master’s degrees in nursing may be considered for renewable contract positions if tenure-track positions are not filled.
