Full Time Tenure-Track Positions

Cal State University Channel Islands, Camarillo CA

Three full time tenure-track positions available (1) Psychiatric Mental Health (2) Maternal Child (3) Pediatrics Nursing for fall 2008 at California State University Channel Islands which offers a baccalaureate program for generic and RN students.

Required Qualifications: A doctoral prepared nurse or significant progress toward a Doctoral Degree in a nursing-related field and Master's preparation in nursing from an accredited institution. Possession of eligibility for California RN licensure, at least one year experience teaching courses related to psychiatric mental/health, maternal child or pediatric nursing or a course which includes practice in teaching nursing; at least one year of continuous full time experience in direct patient care as a RN within the last three years or eligibility for the Board of Registered Nurses approval to teach in specialty to which you are applying. Clinical expertise in the practice of professional nursing; and evidence of a program of scholarship.
