Nursing Faculty Position

California State University, Fresno, College of Health and Human Services, Fresno, CA

Full-time tenure track position available in Medical-surgical nursing for the 2008-2009 Academic Year. California State University, Fresno offers a CCNE accredited baccalaureate program for generic and RN-BSN students, and a Master's program in Primary Care-NP and CNS/Nurse Educator options. Fresno State's Nursing Department is committed to addressing the health disparities in Central California and the critical and growing needs of the nursing profession. We seek a faculty member who desires to make a real difference, both in the Department and in the larger community.

In pursuit of these goals, the Department has created an off campus research facility, the Central California Center for Excellence in Nursing (http://www.centralcalifornianursing.org), where you can engage in your research interests. The Center provides a dedicated facility to enhance:

· Nursing research

· Faculty publications

· Advanced technology and innovations in healthcare education
