Eye Opening Experience
I just want to mention how wide-open my eyes were as I attended the Airway Workshop in NJ with a group of fine folk in the Diversity in Nurse Anesthesia Progam in NJ. Lena, you are a rocket full of enthusiasm and flare! Lena is the founder of this program and I salute her and the members of this group for introducing me to this field of nursing. I am a current nursing student and Lena has set my eyes on new heights in this field. I could only hope to continue to grab a piece of Lena's excitement and enthusiam to others. I got a chance to operate some high-tech airway equipment as well as an introduction to how anesthesia works in the OR; I will definitely keep my eyes open to learn and grow as well as catch hold onto the path of the Diversity in Nurse Anesthesia!
Thanks Lena!
