9th Annual Native Women & Men's Wellness Conference
This annual event is the largest wellness conference for Native and Indigenous people throughout North America. In 2010, we are merging the annual "Native Women & Men's Wellness," the "Wellness & Spirituality" and the "Diabetes Prevention" conferences into one comprehensive wellness event. The conference will provide both personal and professional development, and activities to inform and inspire tribal community leaders, health advocates and health consumers in best practices. General sessions, workshops and wellness activities will focus on a return to healthier ways of living, using a traditional, Native wellness model, and on improving health knowledge and skills in the four directions: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
