University Hospital is the hospital of the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, one of four academic medical centers in New York state. It is the region's only Level 1 Trauma Center and home to the Golisano Children's Hospital. Focused on delivering excellence in health care to a 17-county region, our nursing staff is exceptionally skilled, innovative and diverse, responding to the needs of the region's most critically ill and injured.
